50 Plus Officers

The president presides over all the meetings of the Board and Volunteers. In addition, the president is an ex-officio member of all committees.

The president is responsible for an Annual Calendar to be approved by the Board.

The Vice-president performs all the duties of the president when absent.

The Secretary keeps accurate minutes of all Board meetings and the Annual Business Meeting. The Secretary also takes a roll call of members attending the Participating Meetings and keeps a running record of that attendance.

The Treasurer prepares an annual budget for presentation and approval of the Board. The treasurer is also responsible for monthly statements showing the financial condition of the organization for the current month and year-to-date.

The Education Coordinator recommends curricula for Board approval and is slso responsible for scheduling instructors and coaches to teach the classes.

The Learning Center Manager has the sole responsibility for the maintenance of the Learning Center. Changes are not allowed to the furniture or computer-related equipment without the prior approval of the Learning Center Manager.

The Network Advocate is responsible for keeping the organization connected with the SeniorNet community.

The Public Relations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the organization receives publicity in the local media. In addition, he works with our sponsor to ensure combined coverage of special events.

The PTSCC Representative(s) work with the Board and Volunteers as an official representative of our local sponsor.
