Course Registration Requirements
In order to take an 8-week or a 4-week class, you must be a member of SeniorNet, the national organization with which our learning center is affiliated. An annual membership in SeniorNet is $40 for new members and $30 for continuing members. If required, the SeniorNet membership application must be completed and a check payable to SeniorNet enclosed (no cash accepted).
There is no course fee for students enrolling in Computer Basics for the first time, but each student must join SeniorNet , and a materials charge is also applicable.
To register for one of our courses, you may:
- MAIL-IN: If you have taken classes with us before, complete the registration form in the session brochure and mail it to the Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council no later than the specified date, along with your check for the total amount of the fees and your SeniorNet Application and fees, if applicable.
- IN PERSON: Bring your registration booklet with you to the in-person registration at the Palatine Senior Center at the listed registration date and time.
- Checks for courses and workshops should be made payable to: PTSCC (Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council).
- Checks for national SeniorNet membership should be made payable to: SeniorNet and can not be combined with checks for the courses and workshops.
Note that our beginning course requires in-person registration.
