Course Overview
This is a workshop that will introduce you to the different look of the Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010 programs, including Word and Excel.
Course Prerequisites
- Introduction to Computers;
- Microsoft Word 2003 Basic or equivalent
Course Details
In this new four hour workshop (two days), we will introduce you to the different look of Office 2007 and 2010 4programs, including Word and Excel. This workshop will include:
- Showing you how the Ribbon works, and how it’s different from the command line in earlier versions
- Explaining and customizing the Office button and the Quick Access Toolbar
- Customizing the main screen
- Providing files that allow you to look up the new ways to do things that you knew how to do before
- Finding and adding free enhancements, like saving as a PDF.
- This workshop will make your transition to the new interface much easier.
In addition, the course demonstrates some of the minor differences between Office 2010 and 2007.
